We are pleased to announce that through a collaboration between the WPCA Academy and the Oakmont Carnegie Library, a limited number of ukuleles will be available to check out beginning May 15, 2017.
Although you will need your library card, the ukuleles will be picked up and returned to the Western Pennsylvania Center for the Arts, 300 James Street, Verona PA 15147.
WPCA is making available a limited number of ukuleles to the library that can be checked out the same as a book, video, or other material. WPCA will also maintain the instruments so that each person receives a ukulele in excellent working condition.
When checking out a ukulele the following will apply:
The instrument will be picked up and returned to the WPCA.
You must show a valid library card at checkout and be at least 14 years old.
You must not have any unpaid fines at the library. This will be verified before checking out.
Instruments can be checked out for three (3) weeks at a time. No automatic renewals.
You are responsible for the care of the instrument. Loss or damage will be assessed to you.
If an instrument is not available, you will be placed on a waiting list and notified as soon as a ukulele is returned and ready for lending.
All library rules and regulations apply to this program.
Instruments can be picked up and returned to WPCA on Monday and Thursday 2-8, Tuesday and Wednesday 2-6, Friday 12-4, Saturday 10-3
